Tuesday 20th May 2014

Goals:

1. We meet one of the representatives of a smaller church.

2. We start the reflection on the information from the countries.

3. We start the orientation on the theme ‘Economical crisis and the churches’.

Wednesday 21the of May

Goals:
1. We go to Antwerp (Belgium) by buss. We get meet within concrete situations about the economical crisis.

2. During the long busride we get information about the national councils of churches in the Netherlands and in Belgium. On our way back we’ll see a movie of one of the interesting ecumenical projects called the Passion.

3. We get information of people working for the CEC in Brussels on their work on the theme ‘Economical crisis and the churches’.

Bus to Antwerp, meanwhile presentations of the national councils of Belgium and the Netherlands.

        - Presentation of the work of St.Egidio, working for the poor: Barones Mrs. Hilde Kieboom. President of St. Egidio Antwerpen.

12.00 - 12.45

          Speaker is : Mgr. Johan Bonny

            Lunch and walk to harbour.

14.30 - 17.30

              Visiting the harbour of Antwerp by boat. Presentation by rev. Marc Schippers ( Port Chaplain at Sailor's Society )

17.30 - 18.00

              Walk to the restaurant

18.00 - 20.00

              Dinner and presentation by rev. Peter Pavlovic and Torsten Moritz.

20.00 - 22.15
              Bus back with finishing spiritual moment in the bus         



 

Thursday 22th of May

Goals:
1. We work further on the national reports.

2. We reflect on the economical crisis, the consequences for the environment, for solidarity and for churches.

3. At a special diner we have some entertainment.
